South Industrial Electric was built on plant floors, not in an office. Our people came up through industrial work — bakeries, chemical plants, manufacturing lines — running conduit, landing feeders, wiring control panels and getting production back on line when it mattered. That is still the work we do, and it is the work we are known for.
Today our crews install, wire, terminate and commission the electrical and controls scope for plants across the country, working alongside maintenance teams, systems integrators and contractors who need it done to code, documented, and finished inside the window. We are a family-owned, Christian company, and the way we work comes from what we believe.
“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.” — Genesis 2:15
What it means to us. The first job ever given to a man was to work and to take care of what he was given. We take that as the definition of our trade: do the work with skill, and take care of what has been entrusted to you — the plant, the equipment, the schedule, and the people on the floor. Every job we take is a chance to work it and keep it.

GMP-trained crews, washdown-rated gear, work scheduled around production and sanitation.
Classified locations, strict LOTO, and the documentation your EHS team expects.
Machine power, line moves and control panels, cut over in the window you give us.
Extruder drives and control reconfigurations executed live around compounding runs.
High-current test-station power built to the integrator’s drawings.
Sealed raceways, recessed devices and equipment power in controlled environments, installed under gowning rules.
You design and program it. We install, wire, terminate and loop-check it to your drawings, on your schedule.
A licensed industrial electrical contractor with its own crews, daily reports and clear, documented pricing.
Repairs, upgrades and shutdown support worked around your production — the same crews, job after job.

Our crews of journeymen, apprentices and controls technicians work in plants across the country, and we are growing. If you take pride in clean work and go home safe every night, we’d like to meet you.
Send us the scope and we’ll walk the site with you. Plant down now? (214) 749-8120 or (972) 603-8933, answered 24/7.
